"Incroyables and Merveilleuses, Canes and sticks in the French revolution". Ten years that mattered for the democratic renewal of the Cane, from 1788 to 1799. A newly launched virtual exhibition.

The Segas Gallery specializes in antique and rare canes for collecting. Antique canes dealer in Paris since 1975, Gilbert Segas is a history lover. He initiated, in November 2000, a Cycle of Virtual Exhibitions dedicated to the Canes and Walking sticks, at the cross road of art, collectibles and history.

The Gallery's web site (http://www.canesegas.com) now offers us the third online exhibition, that was launched by November 25, 2005: "Incroyables and Merveilleuses, Canes and sticks in the French revolution". Ten years that mattered for the democratic renewal of the Cane, from 1788 to 1799.
