Glass canesGlasses and other delicacySome master-work from our collection Now what should you be able to tell us about musical instruments, sword, dagger, and pipe, all made of glass ? There origin - like the canes- are multiple: l'Aisne (france), St Chamond - Loire (france), Murano near Venice, where still remain glasses to blown.. Is it about a "conscritpion" accessory ? Is it more simply a master-work that testify the end of the Companion time? To be noted , the work of the glassworkers diverse according to the different location. These objects remain rare on the market, without doubt because of their frailty. Some of those master-piece belong to Swordsman, by their unknown ancient usage, those glass canes stays anonymous. |
