Postage stamps marquetry shaft

Curious cane made of postage stamps mosaic. French and foreign postage stamps montage stamped between 1888 and 1904. Varnished with cabinet-maker glue or egg-whited. Brass collar, pommel in box-wood engraved in the landlord's effigy .

Amusing cane, the shaft is designed with a marquetry of postage stamps, in the mind of "Facteur cheval" Ferdinand Cheval or Pique assiette technic see Picassiette. This naïf work from a Philathoman includes painting, silts, chests, canes, various items of furniture plated with such postage stamps: varnished with cabinet-maker glue or egg-whited, wooden handle, shaped with a grotesque hilarious head.
