Gorgeous sabre Cane, with a dagger


This exceptional sabre Cane conceal a short dagger with a triangular blade of 0,17 cm.

Typical shaft in the shape of a sabre. Total length 97 cm. Origin France, Revolutionary period 1789 - 1791. The shaft is made of Oryx horn. This South African antelope is named, teaches us the Larousse, the "sabre antelope" [1].

Simple ferrule made of a steel blade.

The Cane is surrounded by a strong knob in gilded wood, which particular shape symbolizes the Phrygian cap, decorated on one side with a bid ivory seal representing the corn and the "Third State" power.
