Ivory pommel stick

Strong Incôyable Cane with an ivory pommel, inlaid in terrace with a golden Louis bearing the effigy of Louis XVI.

Surrounding the gold coin bearing the effigy of the king martyr, a black horn circle symbolize the mourning.

The shaft is a strong natural twist, most probably of a wisteria (glycine), that has been planed down, polished and varnished.
